Chiang Mai hotel pick up, a half hour drive takes you to visit the ruined city and temples of Wiang Kum Kam former capital of the Lanna Kingdom. Proceed along an ancient road 12 km long sheltered by 130 year old majestic trees. Visit the ancient and unique Lanna architecture of Wat Prathard Haripunchai & the Buddhist college for novices. Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit a very interesting Thai local market where you will see everyday Thai local culture and customs.
You are then off to visit Baan Tawai one of Chiangmai's most famous handicraft areas renowned for antiques, wood carving, and high quality teak furniture.
Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 04:00 pm or airport drop off for your next destination.
