Karen Long Neck and Chiang Dao Cave

Hotel pick up in Chiang Mai and drive North where you see traditional farmlands and local Thai house styles until you reach Chiang Dao cave. The caverns stretch many kilometers into the mountain. Only a small part of the complex is possible to explore. Two of the caves Tham Phra Nawn and Tham Seua Dao are illuminated by electric lights.

You continue on to visit a Karen long neck tribe village famous for wearing golden rings around their necks arms and legs. After lunch stop at a local market “Mae Ma lai” and see fresh water tropical fish and jungle vegetables not seen in European markets. On route back to your hotel you relax at an orchid & butterfly farm.

Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 4:00 pm or airport drop off for your next destination.
