The Department of Tourism has awarded Thailand Great tours the 2011 award for best tour products, service and Organizational management in tourism.
Elephant Safari Chiang Dao, Lisu Hill Tribe Village Bamboo Raft Adventure
Adventure day great for the family or adventurers seeking do as much as possible in one day. The activities are not strenuous, but have high excitement value. This tour includes a visit to a Lisu Hilltribe village.
This is an early morning start, with first stop at an Orchid and Butterfly farm. You continue to Chiangdao elephant camp where you will see elephants bathing and a show where elephants respond to commands of trainers demonstrate how they remove logs from the jungle. You experience an exciting 1.5 hour elephant ride through the jungle and visit a Lisu Hill Tribe village. Return back to the camp for a Thai buffet lunch. You finish the day with an exciting and scenic bamboo raft ride meandering through beautiful natural forest.
