Discover the mystery and splendor of ancient Thailand. This fascinating world heritage tour will transport you to a time when Siam was ruled by powerful kings. In between the splendid scenery, shopping and great food you visit unique ruins and splendid temples. At Chiang Mai a short ride from the city you will have you riding elephants in the jungle. At Mae Hong Son enjoy the experience of a long tail boat ride along pristine mountain jungle to a Long neck hill tribe village where women wear golden rings around their necks arms and legs.

Tour Itinerary - 8 Days

  • Day 01

    Bangkok

    Arrive in Bangkok and explore the City of Bangkok at your leisure.

  • Day 02

    Ayutthaya – Lopburi - Phitsanulok (B)

    Travel to Ayutthaya. Visit Bang Pa-In Palace and explore the extensive World Heritage sites of ancient Ayutthaya. Leave for Lopburi and visit many Khmer ruins in and around the town. Continue your journey passing the tranquil scenery of rice field countryside and stay overnight in Phitsanulok.

  • Day 03

    Phitsanulok – Sukhothai (B)

    At Phitsanulok, visit Phra Bhudda Chinnaraj considered the country’s most beautiful Buddha image. Visit the Thai Folklore Museum. Continue to wander in the World Heritage ancient ruins of Sukhothai Historical Park. Stay overnight in Sukhothai.

  • Day 04

    Lampang – Lampoon-Chiang Mai (B)

    Visit Si Satchanalai World Heritage site then head to Lampang and visit the ancient fortified temple of Wat Phra That Lampang Luang and enjoy a horse carriage ride. Leave for Lampoon to visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai and the ancient city of Lampoon. Transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

  • Day 05

    Chiang Mai (B/D)

    A short ride from the city an elephant show will entertain you and you have the opportunity to ride elephants in the jungle. On your return to Chiang Mai you can relax in orchid gardens.

    In the afternoon, visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous Temple landmark.

    For dinner, savor a Traditional Khantoke dinner and enjoy the sounds and beauty of the Traditional Northern Thai dance.

  • Day 06

    Chiang Mai (B)

    Visit the handicraft village where skills handed down from generation to generation produce traditional handicrafts, then return to explore the city of Chiang Mai at your leisure.

  • Day 07

    Chiang Rai – The Golden Triangle (B)

    Travel north to Chiang Rai. En route visit Wat Rong Khun, a contemporary Buddhist temple designed byfamous Thai artist. Take a long-tail boat trip to visit Karen hill tribe village. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

  • Day 08

    Chiang Rai – The Golden Triangle (B)

    Visit Doi Tung Royal Villa on the mountain, a vast and magnifi cent flower-filled garden. Visit a Yao and Akha hill tribe village. Head north to the visit Thai-Burmese border town of Mae Sai. Visit the ancient town of Chiang Saen on the banks of the Mekong, and the famous Golden Triangle. Spend another night in Chiang Rai.

  • Day 09

    Depart Chiang Rai (B)

    Depart from Chiang Rai to your next destination.
