Beaches, cities, mountains, temples. nightlife, tribes and nature: Thailand is incredibly diverse. This trip encompasses many highlights of the country, from the northern border to the southern islands. DAY 01 Bangkok
You’ll be collected from Bangkok airport and transferred to your hotel. Hop on a tuktuk and explore the streets of frenetic Bangkok at your leisure today.
DAY 02 Bangkok - Grand Palace - Wat Pho (B)
First stop: The Grand Palace, one of Bangkok’s most iconic sights. Enter through the tall surrounding wall to see government offices, royal residences, and the magical Emerald Buddha. Next, remove your shoes out of respect and enter the gold and gem-laden Wat Phra Kaeo, the most beautiful and important Buddhist temple in Thailand, and finish your day with a massage at Wat Pho.
DAY 03 The Floating Market - Kanchanaburi (B)
Travel out of Bangkok to the largest and most photographed floating market in Ratchaburi, Bangkok’s Old Town. Watch the market vendors floating their goods along the canals, buying and selling, while wearing their bamboo hats.
DAY 04 Kanchanaburi - Erawan Waterfall - Tiger Temple (B)
When it comes to exotic experiences, swimming in a waterfall is certainly high up on the list. This morning you’ll visit the stunning Erawan Waterfall for a cooling dip, before heading to Tiger Temple: a fascinating monastery where tigers are looked after by orange-robed monks. Spend tonight in Kanchanaburi district.
DAY 05 Chiang Mai (B)
Take an early flight to Chiang Mai, check into your hotel, and explore the walled city at your leisure.
DAY 06 Chiang Mai – Wat Chan (B/D)
Just out of the city, on the fringes of Northern Thailand’s jungle, lies Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you’ll meet elephants and watch them demonstrating their intelligence and skills. The elephant nursery is a must, before you stop at the orchid farm on the way back to the city.
DAY 07 Chiang Mai (B)
Time for some indigenous handicrafts today: visit the handicraft village out in the countryside, and return to explore Chiang Mai at your leisure.
DAY 08 Chiang Rai (B)
Not all temples are old. On the way up north to Chiang Rai this morning, you’ll stop at Wat Rong Khun, a contemporary Buddhist temple designed by famous Thai artist. This white structure represents the brightness of Buddha’s light shining over the earth, and provides fascinating insight into modern Thai thinking.
DAY 09 Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai (B)
This morning you’ll visit one of Thailand’s most beautiful flower gardens at Doi Tung, 200 m above sea level, before heading to the subsistence farming Akha Hill Tribe. These fascinating people are known for their artistry, and wear distinctive hats differentiating them from other hill tribes in the area.
DAY 10 Phuket (B)
Fly to Phuket today to end your Thai adventure on a soft sandy beach.
DAY 11 Phuket (B)
Tonight you’ll be booked into the kaleidoscopic Phuket FantaSea show. Learn about the history of Thailand through a dance spectacle, watch an elephant show and tuck into a huge buffet.
DAY 12 Phuket (B)

DAY 13 The Phi Phi islands (B)

Spend your last day on Phuket at your leisure.

Wave goodbye to Phuket as you are transferred to the airport to continue your journey.
