Arrive Chiang Mai and meet your tour guide and transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon, visit Doi Suthep Buddhist temple this is one of Thailand's most revered temples and must be visited. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City. A 300 step Naga (multi headed serpent) staircase leads up to the temple and for those who need fast access there is an elevator.

Evening : Enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner in a Northern Thai teak house where you are entertained with a selection of Northern cultural dances.

Chiang Mai (B/L)

At Mae Sa Elephant Camp magnificent elephants demonstrate how they have helped Thai people through the centuries. You can enjoy an optional elephant ride through indigenous jungle. On route back to Chiang Mai visit orchid gardens and a butterfly farm.

Afternoon, visit a Lanna village where skills have been handed down from generation to generation to produce the much sought after Thai traditional handicrafts.

Fly to Mae Hong Son (B/L)

Chiang Mai hotel pick up and fly to the mystical town of Mae Hong Son nestled in a deep valley surrounded by high mountain ranges. You have an exhilarating long tail boat trip through teak covered mountains to a Padong Long Neck Hilltribe village.

Return by long tail boat and transfer back to your hotel.

Mae Hong Son - fly back to Chaing Mai (B/L)

You visit splendid Burmese style temples on top of the mountain where you have an amazing view over Mae Hong Son and the surrounding countryside. You visit a sacred fish river which disappears into a cave in the mountain where thousands of large fish considered sacred can be seen. Fly to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel.

Depart Chiang Mai (B)
