Tour Itinerary - 5 Days

  • Day 01

    Chiang Mai (D)

    Arrive Chiang Mai and meet your tour guide and transfer to your hotel.

    Afternoon, visit Doi Suthep Buddhist temple this is one of Thailand's most revered temples and must be visited. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City. A 300 step Naga (multi headed serpent) staircase leads up to the temple and an elevator is available for those who need fast access.

    Evening : Enjoy a traditional Khantoke Dinner in a Northern Thai teak house where you are entertained with a selection of Northern cultural dances.

  • Day 02

    Chiang Mai (B/L)

    Today you visit the fascinating old city of Chiang Mai. The tour includes the ancient city wall and moat, visit a 710 year old temple with sacred ancient crystal Buddha. See the largest stupa in Chiang Mai and see vivid murals showing Chiang Mai ancient Thai life. Experience the colors and fragrances of the Thai market, where you witness local Thai people and life style.

    Visit the Hot spring at Sankampeang and Baan Chang Nak, where you see the ancient art of Lanna Elephant Wood Carving. You visit a Lanna Handicraft Village where skills have been handed down from generation to generation to produce bamboo umbrellas, silk and cotton weaving and traditional painted pottery to name a few.

  • Day 03

    Chiangmai/Chiangdao/Doi Angkhang (B/L)

    From Chiangmai we visit Chiang Dao elephant camp where you see first hand the life of elephants. Visit Chiang Dao illuminated caves stretching many kilometers into the mountain. Journey along panoramic mountain roads to overnight at the Doi Angkhang mountain resort.

  • Day 04

    Doi Angkhang/Chiangmai (B/L)

    Your exciting mule mountain trek takes you to spectacular views across Burma. Visit the Royal Angkhang Project developing flowering plants, temperate fruit trees, vegetables and other crops. Visit Lahu and Palong Hill tribe villages. Return to overnight at Chiang Mai.

  • Day 05

    Chiang Mai (B)

    Free leisure time and transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for next destination.
