Tour Itinerary - 6 Days

  • Day 01

    Bangkok - Chiang Mai

    Arrive Chiang Mai, meet guide and transfer to hotel. Free leisure time.

  • Day 02

    Chiang Mai - Elephant Owner for a day (B/L)

    Training session includes hiking to find your elephant in the jungle. Learn about elephant farm management and the breeding program.  Train to approach be close to elephants. Learn to observe elephant temperament. Introduction to all of the elephants. Morning elephant feeding. Daily health elephant care. Elephant pregnancy test and mother care with small baby elephant. Train to unchain and walk your elephant to the river. Learn about  elephant skin care and bathe your elephant in the river.   Instruction's on how to climb on an elephants neck using different techniques, sitting on the elephant, basic riding skills and elephant commands. Practice climbing on and off an elephant.

    Bare-back riding session. Practice an easy riding trip within the farm and a short trip to visit the local temple. Learn about elephants and Buddhism and Thai beliefs relating to elephants.

    Set off on a long up hill trip to visit a waterfall for a picnic lunch and enjoy the tranquility at the waterfall with your elephant. Ride your elephant to the farm for evening feed. Farewell and photos with your elephant. Transfer back to your hotel.

  • Day 03

    Chiang Mai (B/D)

    Free at Leisure.

    Evening : Relax in a palatial setting while dining on delicious northern Thai cuisine called “Khan Toke”. During the meal traditional Thai instruments will play soothing music while charming Thai dancers entertain you with the fingernail dance, candle dance, sword dance and Ramwong dance.

  • Day 04

    Chiang Mai - Thai Cooking (B/L)

    This is a great opportunity to learn how to cook traditional food in a Northern Style Thai home. You begin your course by enjoying a visit to a local Thai market where you are shown how to select fresh ingredients for your course.

    Skilled Thai cooks demonstrate the secrets of real Thai cooking for you in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Returning home you will surprise family and friends when you can prepare authentic Thai dishes.

    On completing the cooking you will enjoy the efforts of your labor by eating the food in the company of the other guests. You receive a Thai Recipe Book on completion of the course. Transfer back to hotel around 15.30

  • Day 05

    Chiang Mai - Mini Trek Doi Suthep national Park (B/L)

    Pick up from hotel and head to Doi suthep until you reach a Mountain Waterfall. From here you trek for about 40 minutes to Sai-yoy water fall, where you can swim in the Crystal clear water and relax. Continue trekking for 2 hours experiencing natural jungle until you reach a white Hmong Hilltribe village, migrants from China, they live in simple, isolated and self-sustaining villages preserving their culture, ancient customs and wear gorgeous embroidered costumes. You can walk freely around the village experiencing the villagers daily lives.

    Lunch snack is provided at the village.

    Afterwards, drive up to Doi Pui summit and pass Phuping Palace to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, 3,500 ft.above sea level and built in 1383. See the marvelous golden pagoda which contains relics of the Lord Buddha. From here you will enjoy the panoramic view of Chiang Mai city 15km below.

    Transfer back to your hotel.

    Depart Chiang Mai (B/L)

    Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your next destination.
