Tour Itinerary - 6 Days

  • Day 01

    Bangkok – Chiang Mai

    Arrive at Chiang Mai, meet with your guide and transfer to your Hotel.

    Free leisure time to relax or explore Chiang Mai.

  • Day 02

    Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep Temple and Chiang Mai Zoo (B/L)

    Visit Doi Suthep Temple one of Thailand's most revered Temples which must be visited. This Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern mountain in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, which is 262.5 Square km. in extent. The mountain has beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai City 15 Km below. Leading up the mountain is a 300 step staircase to the temple. A naga (multi headed serpent) on both sides of the staircase follows the staircase up the mountain. For those who need fast access to the temple there is an elevator. See the Golden Pagoda which contains holy relics of the Lord Buddha. Learn about Lord Buddha life on murals around temple.

    Lunch at local restaurant then continue your trip down hill to visit World's famous Chiang Mai Zoo. Here the kids will enjoy seeing many kind of animals including Pandas and the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia.

  • Day 03

    Chiang Mai - Elephant Show, elephant Safari and Bamboo Rafting (L/D)

    This is an early morning start, with first stop at an Orchid and Butterfly farm. You continue to Mae Taeng elephant camp where you see elephants bathing and a show where elephants respond to commands of trainers and demonstrating how they remove logs from the jungle. You are then off on an exciting 1 hour elephant ride through indigenous jungle and continue with a 15 minute traditional Thai ox-cart ride.

    After a Thai buffet lunch you round the day off with a very exciting and scenic bamboo raft ride, meandering down the river through beautiful natural forest. Return to your hotel around 5 pm.

    Evening : Relax in a palatial setting with delicious northern Thai cuisine called “Khan Toke”. Where you can eat to your heart’s content. During the meal traditional Thai instruments play soothing music while charming Thai dancers entertain you with the fingernail dance, candle dance, sword dance and Ramwong dance.

  • Day 04

    Chiang Mai (B)

    Free leisure day.

  • Day 05

    Handicraft village and Hot Spring (B/L)

    Visit the natural hot spring at Sankampeang where high temperature water can boil eggs, stop for a coffee break then visit Baan Chang Nak, to see the traditional ancient art and museum of Lanna Elephant Wood Carving. You visit a Lanna village where famous traditional handicrafts are produced. These skills have been handed down from generation to generation to produce the much sought after hand made products such as bamboo umbrella making, silk and cotton weaving and traditional painted pottery to name a few. Lunch and back to hotel.

    Afternoon : Free leisure time.
