Tour Itinerary - 7 Days

  • Day 01

    Arrive Chiang Mai (D)

    Arrival at Chiang Mai Airport and transfer to your hotel, then visit Doi Suthep Temple. The Buddhist Temple is situated on top of the Eastern Mountain in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park with beautiful views overlooking Chiang Mai city 15 Km below. Leading up the mountain are 300 steps with Naga (multi headed serpent) bodies on both sides of the staircase. The serpent heads are at the base of the stairs. For those who need fast access, the temple has an elevator.

    In the evening enjoy a traditional Thai Khantoke dinner with Thai Classical Dance. The food is served on large platters in a Northern Thai teak house. Northern cultural performances include the mystical Thai Finger Dance, Thai Sword Dance, Thai Candle Dance, and a Group Dance. Guests are invited to join the beautiful Thai dancers. Transfer back to your hotel.

  • Day 02

    Gassan Marina Golf Club (B)

    Breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Gassan Marina Golf Club. Gassan Marina has been set around Chiang Mai’s largest lake, 10,000 square meters in size. The 18 hole par 72 course of 7596 yards is the longest course in Thailand is set against a back drop of breathtaking mountains with exotic plants. Lunch at clubhouse.

    After lunch visit a Lanna village where famous traditional handicrafts are produced. These skills have been handed down from generation to generation. The much sought after hand made products are Bamboo umbrella making, silk and cotton weaving and traditional painted pottery to name a few.

    Transfer to Traditional Lanna Thai Massage. The massage using the aromatic oil with Thai herbs to release the tight muscles, stimulates blood circulation.

  • Day 03

    Chiang Rai (B/L)

    After breakfast transfer to Chiang Rai, nick named the city of beautiful women. On route you will visit Meakajan hot spring where guests can relax and have refreshments. Continuing on to Wat Rongkoon which is a fairy tale lovers delight, the white temple, designed and built by a Thai artist in now a major attraction of Thai’s and Tourists alike. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant or buffet at hotel. In the afternoon you take a Thai long Tail Boat up the river passing Thai villages and viewing mountain scenery to visit a Karen village, where you visit an elephant village and can enjoy an optional elephant ride through the jungle. You will see many different hill tribes in this area.

    Transfer to your hotel, where you can visit the night market in the evening.

  • Day 04

    Santiburi Golf Club (B)

    Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Santiburi Golf Club. A masterpiece designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr . The 18 hole par 72 championship course, is a challenge for every golfer. Rolling hills guarded by countless sand and grass bunkers, trees and huge water hazards are designed into the natural landscape of the northern region. Lunch at clubhouse. After returning to the hotel, you have time to relax at the pool.

  • Day 05

    Waterford Valley Golf Club (B)

    Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Waterford Valley Golf Club. An 18 hole par 72 golf course 7.100 yards long outside Chiang Rai, is situated on a plateau, surrounded by gentle mountains and cool valleys. The course offers stunning panoramic views. The beautiful fairways and greens wind around a hill with lakes and small channels. Lunch at clubhouse. After returning to your hotel, you have time to relax at the pool.

  • Day 06

    The Golden Triangle (B/L)

    After breakfast, transfer to visit Doi Tung where you visit the Kings mother’s palace and view the royal gardens. You are then off to Mae Sai River border of Myanmar (Burma) where you visit the tax-fee market selling a variety of goods including carvings and clothing. There is a beautiful view overbooking Burmese mountains, city, and temples.

    You then visit the Golden Triangle where you visit the Opium House at the legendary Mekong River, which winds its path through China to the Golden Triangle. Standing on Thailand you will see Burma and Laos. Lunch is served at a restaurant from where you head off to the ancient city of Chiangsean the original capital of the Lanna Kingdom, originating around 1328, You can visit a multitude of sites including, ancient temples, stupas and the ancient city wall and moat.

    Transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 07

    Departure (B)

    After breakfast transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for your next destination.
